Not far inland you’ll find air boat rides, sparkling springs perfect for a refreshing dip and the charming town of Deland. Our wildlife preserves, safe havens for waterfowl and migrating birds, are places where only the splash of a canoe or kayak paddle breaks the stillness. And before you leave, try to fit in simple pleasures. Ride a bike along the dunes, attend a seasonal art show or heritage festival—our area’s full of unexpected fun.
