Where to Swim and Surf

Swim in the ocean or in pools. Many lakes, rivers and ponds in the area are unsuitable. Ponce Inlet, Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach have separate ordinances regarding surfing. Phone local police departments for appropriate surf areas and times.

Recreational Facilities

County ball fields, pavilions, courts and meeting rooms may be reserved in advance. Seven to 10 working days are required to process a reservation permit by mail.
